During the year expertise has been accumulated of database treatments, for instance word databases and customer databases with a link to zip-code register.
The company activities were quite minimal during the years of it's owners university studies.

During previous years the company was in a crucial role in the development of
fennica.net, the largest Finnish categorized portal with over 30000 links and a huge database of Finnish regions and towns. Laudatum Oy had also the role of acquiring and treating the databases and building up the business concept. Even in the early stages of the portal, it was ranked as one of the best sites in Finland. Today the Ascentia Oy managed portal is the biggest regional and categorized link portal in the country.

Last couple of years Laudatum Oy has been concentrating on software production, which has given birth to a software family called Sycamore Series. This software is yet to be published. This is a script-based information acquisition and dissemination software is tailorable for many kinds of automatic build-ups of databases, updates and other kinds of situations in an Internet environment.
